About our privacy policy
Eliya’s Lean & Vegan cares a lot about your privacy. We therefore only process data that we need for (improving) our services and handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.
This privacy policy applies to the use of the website and the services provided by Eliya’s Lean & Vegan. The starting date for the validity of these conditions is 30/10/2023, with the publication of a new version the validity of all previous versions expires. About data processing
Below you can read how we process your data, where we store it, which security techniques we use and for whom the data is visible.
WooCommerce
Our online store was developed with WooCommerce software, we have chosen TransIP for our web hosting. Personal data that you make available to us for the benefit of our services will be shared with this party. TransIP has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support, they will never use your data for any other purpose. Based on the agreement we have conducted with them, TransIP is obliged to take appropriate security measures. These security measures consist of the application of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Backups are made regularly to prevent data loss.
Our online store has been developed with WooCommerce software, we host our online store on an in-house server. We have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse, loss and corruption of data as much as possible. Webhosting: TransIP
We purchase web hosting and email services from TransIP. TransIP processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. This party can collect metadata about the use of the services. This is not personal data. TransIP has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. TransIP is legally obliged to maintain confidentiality.
E-mail en mailing lists: MailChimp
We send our email newsletters with MailChimp. MailChimp will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every email sent automatically via our website you will see the ‘unsubscribe’ link. If you click on it, you will then no longer receive our newsletter. Your personal data is stored securely by MailChimp. MailChimp uses cookies and other internet technologies that provide insight into whether emails are opened and read. MailChimp reserves the right to use your data to further improve its services and to share information with third parties in this context.
Payment processor: Mollie
We use the Mollie platform to process (part of) the payments in our online store. Mollie processes your name, address and residence details and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Mollie has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Mollie reserves the right to use your data to further improve the services and in this context to share (anonymized) data with third parties. All the above-mentioned guarantees with regard to the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of Mollie’s services for which they engage third parties. Mollie does not store your data for longer than is permitted by the legal periods.
Shipping and logistics: Shops United
If you place an order with us, it is our job to have your package delivered to you. We use the services of Shops United to carry out deliveries. It is necessary for us to share your name, address and residence details with Shops United. Shops United uses this information only for the purpose of executing the agreement. In the event that Shops United engages subcontractors, Shops United will also make your data available to these parties.

General purpose of the processing
We use your data exclusively for the purpose of our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the assignment you provide. In appropriate cases, Eliya’s Lean & Vegan may be required by law to share your data in connection with government tax or criminal investigations. In such a case we are forced to share your data, but we will oppose this within the possibilities offered by the law.
Retention periods
We keep your data as long as you are our client. This means that we keep your customer profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. However, employees no longer have access to your client profile and documents that we have produced in response to your assignment.

You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you a confirmation to the e-mail address known to us that the data will no longer be processed until you cancel the restriction.
Right to portability
You always have the right to have the data that we process or have processed that relates to your person or can be traced back to you, processed by another party. You can make a request to our contact person for privacy matters. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you copies or copies of all data about you that we have processed or that has been processed on our behalf by other processors or third parties at the e-mail address known to us.
